libcgic2 software package provides C library for developing CGI applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcgic2
libcgic2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcgic2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcgic2 *
You will get with libcgic2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
